Japanese Border Update

After a recent discussion, the Japanese government is aware that Japan faces a short

age of foreign workers (mainly English teachers) and students. With many schools graduating in March, this will leave many schools almost empty due no no one being able to arrive in almost 2 years.

The Japanese government is planning a stricter measure to open the borders and allow students, foreign family members and workers to enter Japan before April 2022, while trying to reduce the number of infections.

Currently, the planned restrictions are scheduled to end by the end of February and the government will allow 3,500 persons per day to enter Japan.
